Gabriel Boehmer from This Oregon Life: Stories About Your Oregon Experience

Gabriel Boehmer is a third-generation Oregonian and author of "City of Readers: The Book Lover's Guide to Portland." His essay "Trapped in America's Most Livable City" was recently published The Grove Review: A Literary Journal. He has lived in Portland, with brief escapes, since 1964.
