Baseball is one of America's central institutions, and it has long reflected the complicated and painful history of race in the United States. Pride and Passion is an exhibition that tells the story of black baseball players over the past century and a half. Dr. Thabiti Lewis, Associate Professor of English at Washington State University Vancouver and author of the book Ballers of the New School: Race and Sports in America offers an engaging look at the content of this exhibition.

Exhibition open: December 3, 2011 - January 22, 2012
